We started as whisky brokers and then were asked by Bruichladdich distillery on Islay to help develop their international business; working there was such an incredible learning experience and proved that a business could be run with imagination, integrity, a real sense of community and most importantly lots of fun.

 

Though Bruichladdich was subsequently sold, we continued working with its visionary founder Mark Reynier and became founder investors in, and global sales agents for, both the Waterford whisky distillery in Ireland and the Renegade rum distillery in Grenada.

 

We are also independent bottlers of whiskies and rums with our Rest & Be Thankful brand and work on all types of projects with clients all over the world.

 

The business has evolved into two clear entities – Fox Fitzgerald Brands and Fox Fitzgerald Whisky Trading : one focussed on long term brand building, the other on short term trading opportunities. Both are great fun and allow us to exploit our core USP of fantastic relationships as a trusted partner for both suppliers and importers around the world.

 

It’s been an amazing journey so far and we like to think we are just getting started !
