History
We started as whisky brokers and then were asked by Bruichladdich distillery on Islay to help develop their international business; working there was such an incredible learning experience and proved that a business could be run with imagination, integrity, a real sense of community and most importantly lots of fun.
We are independent bottlers of whiskies and rums with our Rest & Be Thankful brand and work on all types of projects with clients all over the world.
The business has evolved into two clear entities – Fox Fitzgerald Brands and Fox Fitzgerald Whisky Trading : one focussed on long term brand building, the other on short term trading opportunities. Both are great fun and allow us to exploit our core USP of fantastic relationships as a trusted partner for both suppliers and importers around the world.
It’s been an amazing journey so far and we like to think we are just getting started !

If we are amongst the very few people on this earth fortunate enough to be able to choose what work we do, then we should do what we love.
We love the premium alcohol industry , we enjoy the craft that going into producing the finest quality whiskies and rums and we enjoy how they bring people together in joy and celebration; we love travelling the globe – visiting incredible distilleries in beautiful locations and then selling to our products to our friends in the great cities of the world.
We love creating new brands and we love working with colleagues with whom we have built a deep respect and trust having worked together for many years.
We constantly are exposed to people, whether distillers, brand owners, importers or retailers who constantly amaze us with their passion and enterprise and we learn something new every day.
